Aussie Hoops
Aussie Hoops is an initiative of Basketball Australia and the Australian Sports Commission to establish a National Basketball Program for Primary School aged children. The program is player centred, fun based and affordable to all. Girls and boys, abled or disabled; naturally gifted or sporting battler. Aussie Hoops provides opportunities to learn, to play with your friends and to develop important social skills in a convenient, safe and friendly environment. Albury Sports Stadium offers 2 steps in their Aussie Hoops Program. It comprised 30 minute skills session and then 2 x 15 minutes half games each week. Mixed teams of boys and girls. Information available at the Albury Sports Stadium. Cost is $35 Registration & Insurance (includes a basketball) and $5.20 per week. Albury Sports Stadium will place players names with the Junior Basketball Association to secure team places as players become competent.
